At Range Hood Direct Buy, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please review the following return, refund, exchange, and damage claim policies carefully before placing your order.
By purchasing from our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Damaged Shipment Claims
(Must Be Reported Within 3 Calendar Days)
Customers must report any shipping damage directly to RangeHoodDirectBuy within 3 calendar days of delivery.
To submit a damage claim, customers are required to provide:
- Clear photos and/or videos of the damage
- Photos of the product model label
- Photos of the packaging and shipping box condition
Failure to provide the required documentation may delay or void the claim process.
Once the claim is reviewed and approved:
- A return pickup will be arranged if necessary
- Replacement products will be shipped only after the original item has been returned, received, inspected, and verified
Returned units that do not match the original product shipped may be refused.
Claims submitted after the 3-day inspection period may not qualify for replacement, refund, or shipping damage coverage.
2. Undamaged Returns
(Within 14 Days of Delivery)
Customers requesting a return for an undamaged item must contact Customer Support within 14 calendar days of delivery and provide the reason for return.
All approved undamaged returns are subject to:
- A 25% restocking fee
- Original shipping charges
- Return shipping costs
- Any repair, cleaning, refurbishment, or repackaging fees if applicable
Before return authorization is issued, customers must provide:
- Photo of the model label
- Photos of the hood from multiple angles
- Photos of the interior blower compartment
- Photos of all included parts and accessories
- Photos of the original packaging
Return pickup arrangements will be made only after verification is completed.
Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received, inspected, and confirmed to match the original product shipped.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Returns, refunds, or exchanges will NOT be accepted under the following conditions:
- Product has been installed, mounted, or used
- Product has been modified, cut, customized, or altered
- Damage was reported after 3 calendar days
- Original packaging, manuals, hardware, or accessories are missing
- Product does not match the original model, serial number, version, or configuration shipped
- Product shows signs of:
- Grease or cooking residue
- Scratches or dents
- Discoloration
- Wear or prior use
- Tampering or unauthorized repair
- Product is identified as an older version, previously owned unit, or substituted item
Custom color, powder-coated, made-to-order, clearance, and special-order products are final sale and are non-returnable and non-refundable once production begins.
4. Product Verification Requirement
(Applies to ALL Returns & Exchanges)
To prevent fraud, product substitution, and shipping disputes, all return and exchange requests require verification documentation prior to approval.
Customers must provide:
- Photo of the product label
- Photos of the hood from all sides
- Photos of the interior blower compartment
- Photos of packaging materials
- Photos of included accessories and parts
RangeHoodDirectBuy reserves the right to deny any return, refund, or exchange if the returned item does not match the product originally shipped according to internal verification records.
5. Exchange Policy
(Within 7 Days of Delivery)
Exchange requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Customers must provide:
- Reason for exchange
- Clear photos/videos showing the issue or defect
- Product verification photos
Once approved:
- Return shipping arrangements will be coordinated
- Replacement products will be shipped only after the original item is returned and inspected
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchanges unless otherwise approved in writing.
Only one exchange is permitted per original purchase.
Replacement products must be of equal or greater value. Customers are responsible for any price difference.
6. Missing Parts Policy
Missing parts claims must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Customers are required to provide:
- Clear photos/videos showing the missing component
- Photo of the product label
- Photos of packaging materials
Replacement parts will be shipped only after claim verification is completed.
Claims may be denied if:
- Required photos are not provided
- Packaging appears tampered with
- Product appears installed or previously used
Approved replacement parts will be provided at no additional charge.
7. Refund Processing
All returned items are subject to inspection, verification, testing, and condition evaluation upon arrival.
Refund calculations may include deductions for:
- Original shipping charges
- 25% restocking fee
- Return shipping costs
- Repair or refurbishment costs
- Missing parts or damaged packaging

− Repair/Refurbishment Costs (if applicable)
If returned merchandise:
- Does not match the original product shipped
- Is damaged, altered, used, greasy, scratched, or incomplete
- Is substituted with another model or version
then the return may be:
- Rejected entirely, OR
- Subject to a partial refund based on the item’s actual condition and resale value
Refunds are issued only after inspection and approval are completed.
